My Spanish 1 class is the first Spanish 1 class I have had in six years. At this point, I am learning all over again how to facilitate the learning of Novice-Low students.  Thank GOODNESS for TPRS and TCI. I would be lost without these methods.

This time of year, the students and I are always tired and ready for a break.  It’s a good time to infuse a lot of culture, and capitalize for their love of all things nostalgic and magical. With my Spanish 1 students, I decided to go with a unit on El Ratoncito Perez (the Spanish equivalent of the tooth fairy).  It has gone pretty well, so I’d like to share my materials with you.  I hope you enjoy, and if you see any corrections that need to be made, please let me know! I have been under-the-weather lately and am not making much sense in many of my writings!
