As you know, if you have read previous blog posts, the Octavio Paz chapter of la Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica at our school kicked off the holiday season by participating in the VBHS Fall Festival and the Pulsera Project.

Pulsera Project

And we sang villancicos (Christmas carols) at a local elementary school to welcome families on the Family Christmas Literacy Night:

We have been honored to participation in such rewarding activities!  It has been a great end to a wonderful semester!

The SHH has a big Spring semester planned.  Discover Languages month is in February; with this we will invite and induct new members and hopefully host an international fair.  In March we hope to unveil a plan that will take us to Costa Rica in the summer of 2015.  Lastly, in April, we will attend our first ever World Languages competition!

Espero que tengan una muy feliz Navidad y prospero año nuevo.
